The museum was housed in Otley Civic Centre until May 2010 when the building was closed by the local authorities for refurbishment.
The artefacts were moved to secure storage and space was leased
in our current premises for the extensive archive.
This includes documents, building records and photographs
and important industrial archives relating to the
town's world famous printing machine industry.
The whole archive is still available
to both personal and professional researchers
and artefacts can sometimes be brought out from storage
